Based in the industrial heartland of Houston, you will be the trusted partner that empowers their bold promises, designing and overseeing agile, end-to-end logistics solutions for their most complex, high-stakes, and regulated operations. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated, single point of contact for a portfolio of key industrial accounts, cultivating deep, long-term partnerships built on trust and unparalleled service.
• Complex Solution Design: Collaborate intimately with clients and our internal operations experts to design highly customized, end-to-end logistics solutions for large-scale projects, including plant relocations, capital equipment transport, and critical infrastructure supply.
• Project Oversight: Quarterback the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and risk assessment to execution and final delivery, ensuring every milestone is met on time and within budget.
• Commercial Leadership: Lead commercial negotiations, conduct regular strategic business reviews, and identify opportunities to expand our partnership and add further value to the client’s operations.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential challenges in high-stakes projects and leverage deep market insight and Houger’s global network to develop robust contingency plans.
• Client Advocacy: Serve as the internal champion for your clients, ensuring their unique needs and exacting demands are understood and met by every part of our organization.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned, credible, and exceptionally thorough professional with a proven ability to manage complex relationships and critical logistics projects.

• Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic account management or project logistics, with a focus on industrial sectors (e.g., Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, Heavy Machinery).
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar, long-cycle logistics projects.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and senior-level presentation skills.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges associated with out-of-gauge (OOG), heavy-lift, and project cargo.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • An established professional network within the Houston industrial and energy sectors.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Engineering.
